I often visit old buildings or am drawn to the detritus of past times
In this way I am a collector, a documenter of sorts.
Not an archivist, I do not keep precise records. Just memories, which fade,
like the places photographed , and now re-presented.
These montages, whilst single images in
the end, stay true to my continued interest in using multiple images.By combining aspects of various photographs
of a location, merging some of the fragments, the resulting pictures hopefully may
charm a viewer to appreciate the collective oddities of a place that captivated
me at the time, with a similar abstract and unconnected interest.
